The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was a protest against the Tea Act. The Tea Act was when the British could only buy tea from east India. But the prices were way over the top. So on a ship patriots took hundreds of barrels of tea and threw them into the Boston Harbor. Some Patriots dressed as Indians but the British could not be fooled they knew it was patriots. Once the British came the patriots fled. But their mission was complete
