The Battle of Lexington and Concord
There was a spy that told the British that there was guns and weapons in Concord. So the British marched to Concord. Two patriots named Paul Revere and William Dawes went on horseback to warn the minutemen that the British were coming. The minutemen that heard the call came out and went to Lexington to fight the British. They soon lost in like 5 minutes. They lost because at that time there were not a lot of soldiers that fought because they did not hear the call. As the British were marching to Concord they meet very little resistance because the colonists were saving a surprise. More and more colonists came and they shot at the British from behind stone walls and trees. The minutemen soon killed more and more British. Soon more than half of the British army was ether hurt or injured . They soon found safety in Charleston.
